If there is one thing I get really excited about as we near fall (....besides Pumpkin Spice Lattes) it is pulling out all my plaid! I love the simplicity and versatility of plaid. I know on any given day I can pull out on of my (many) plaid tops or bottoms and make it work into an outfit! Now that mixing prints is "in" and acceptable I can't wait to play around with plaid a little more.
The first outfit is a plaid skirt from J.Crew paired with one of their chambray shirts and loafers. I think this look could be worn in a business casual atmosphere. The middle outfit is what I consider to be a "throw on and go" outfit. Pairing it with the plaid Sloane Ranger Tote brings the colors together a little more. This would be a great rainy day outfit. The last outfit is my favorite! I have this shirt in a few different plaids and have to force myself to not wear it all the time. It is an easy go-to top that can be worn so many different ways for running errands or going out to dinner!

Ah, totally crushing on plaid too. Just sported some today!! I color-blocked it -- it was blue plaid & I paired it with a lighter colored blue pants.
